Despite status as family theme park playground, Greater Orlando also rocks at night to extend daytime fun. From ultra-hip to downright hokey venues, from high-energy dance clubs to laid-back pubs and multi-venue entertainment complexes, Orlando has several distinct areas and options for living it up after sundown. Downtown Orlando boasts clubs, restaurants and bars.
Even after theme parks close, Orlando keeps the action going with everything from hotel bars to swinging dance clubs. The four main areas of nighttime activity center on Downtown Disney, Disney's Pleasure Island, Universal Studios CityWalk, and downtown Orlando's Orange Avenue. Disney certainly knows how to throw a party, as visitors will agree after visiting the House of Blues, Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba, and Comedy Warehouse. Universal, too, packs frolickers into nightclubs like Bob Marley and the Latin Quarter. The Social, a live music club, and Tabu, a dance club, shake up downtown Orlando and appeal to professionals, locals, and tourists alike.
